As much as we may wish it were possible, we can’t stop the hands of time. We are all aging. You can’t compare yourself to what you were yesterday. Nobody is the same as they were 20-25 years ago.
Aging may impact the cardiovascular system, bones, joints, muscles, memory, eyesight, hearing, teeth, skin, weight, and more.
What to do?
Get moving. We may just want to “take it easy.” But this is exactly the time to get moving. Exercise and other physical activities have multiple benefits for people of any age, but especially for seniors.
Eat right. Goals are to remove sugar from the diet, reduce carbohydrate intake, and eat plenty of protein.
Chiropractic care focuses on maintaining a balance within the body. This includes a balanced nervous system. Structural issues caused by spinal subluxations will affect your skeletal and nervous systems, thus affecting your quality of life.
